Discover The Westerly at Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort
Upon arriving at The Westerly at Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort, I was immediately enveloped in an undeniable sense of comfort and tranquility. As I checked in, a sudden gust of wind playfully whisked away my hat, eliciting giggles from nearby children. This initial burst of joy set the tone for a meaningful vacation at one of Aruba's most luxurious resorts.
The Westerly is a perfect "hotel within a hotel" located along the Palm Beach coastline, officially opened this spring. With 161 spacious rooms and suites, personalized concierge service, an adults-only pool, and the spectacular rooftop Terrace on 10, this boutique experience exudes character while offering all the amenities of Hilton Aruba.
Services and Amenities at The Westerly
The name The Westerly is inspired by Aruba's steady trade winds blowing from northeast to west, bringing a sense of peace to Palm Beach. This building is not just a luxurious retreat but also a symbol of Aruba's rich history in tourism, which began back in 1959 as the Aruba Caribbean Hotel.
As I stepped into the 10-story building, I found myself immersed in a world of relaxation and style. My Ocean View King room, spanning 461 square feet, featured soft color palettes and modern decor that created a fresh and inviting atmosphere. From my bed, I could easily operate the lights and charging ports thanks to the smart design of the headboard.
Terrace on 10: A Unique Highlight
Exclusively for guests at The Westerly, Terrace on 10 is not just a bar but a standout restaurant. Breakfast here is impressive, featuring made-to-order dishes like omelets, Croque Monsieur, fresh fruit, and exquisite mimosas. As the sun sets, the atmosphere comes alive with the smooth sounds of jazz.

Dinner at Sunset Grille is also a memorable experience. The restaurant's specialty is the porterhouse steak served right at your table, accompanied by must-try dishes like truffle risotto, lobster mac and cheese, and sautéed asparagus.
Exploring Aruba: A Blend of Relaxation and Adventure
To make the most of my stay at The Westerly, I balanced relaxation with adventurous activities. One of the highlights was a half-day snorkeling trip aboard the Montforte III, where I had the chance to see sea turtles and colorful tropical fish.
The Shore Club restaurant is also a fantastic choice for lunch, offering sushi, poke bowls, and quick bites by the beach. After a fun-filled afternoon, I wrapped up my day at Eforea Spa with a ginger massage, leaving me in a state of absolute bliss.
Helpful Information for Vietnamese Travelers
If you're planning a trip to Aruba, be sure to prepare some important documents. As of early 2026, all travelers will need a valid passport and an online ED card, which can be completed up to 7 days before departure and includes a $20 sustainable fee.
Cities in the U.S. with direct flights to Aruba include Atlanta, Miami, Chicago, and Washington D.C. From the airport, it takes just about 20 minutes to reach The Westerly. Keep in mind that before leaving Aruba for the U.S., you will need to go through customs as a domestic passenger.
Choosing the right time to visit is also crucial. Aruba enjoys a tropical climate, with the best time to visit from December to April, during the dry season with less rain and cooler temperatures. Get ready for an unforgettable vacation in this paradise!
